Kristoffersen, Hero of Kitzbühel
Only 12th after the first run, Henrik Kristoffersen has claimed his 5th victory this season, ending 1st of Kitzbühel’s slalom ahead of Marcel Hirscher (+0.03) and Fritz Dopfer (+0.45). The racer from Rossignol Team is the first Norwegian to win here in Slalom and also the first one to gain 3 classics in a row after Adelboden and Wengen!
“Аt the moment, I’m just skiing. I made two big mistakes in the first run so it was difficult to imagine that I could win. In the second run, it was a kind of “all or nothing” but I was a little smarter and it worked. Yes, I could say it is one of my biggest achievements especially because I was 12th of the first run!”
